Who We Are
This website is operated by Kingsford & Wentworth LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States ("we," "our," or "the firm"). We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy matters through the contact form.
What We Collect
We collect only what you choose to send us through the contact form:
- your name and email address;
- the topic you select and the content of your message.
Our hosting provider also processes standard technical data when you visit the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site and keep it secure; we do not use it to identify you.
This website uses no cookies, no analytics or advertising tags, and makes no requests to third-party services from your browser.
Why We Use It and on What Basis
We use the information you send only to respond to your inquiry and, if you ask us to, to discuss a possible engagement. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and on our legitimate interest in answering business inquiries and operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your information for marketing, do not add you to mailing lists, and do not sell, rent or trade it.
Confidentiality
Discretion is fundamental to how we operate. We do not discuss, disclose or reference inquiries received through this site - with other clients, within our wider network or publicly - without your explicit permission. Inquiries are shared only with the advisors needed to respond to them, who are bound by confidentiality.
Who Processes It for Us
The site and its contact form are hosted by Netlify, Inc. in the United States, which processes data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Where personal information from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred to the United States, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
We may also disclose information if required by law or valid legal process.
How Long We Keep It
We keep an inquiry only for as long as we need it to respond and to discuss any resulting engagement. Once it has been handled, it is deleted from the form system. If an inquiry leads to an engagement, it becomes part of the engagement record and is kept as required by law. Hosting logs are kept by our provider for a limited period for security purposes.
Your Rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, or to provide it in a portable format. Where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object at any time. To make a request, use the contact form; we will respond within one month.
If you are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will appear on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
